Jet flying in Hawaii?
 

Any RCU members fly jets on the big island?

Near Kona would be great. I'll be there for 3 months this winter and was thinking about bringing a few planes

I was there at their airshow earlier this year, im not sure they have a place to fly jets yet. Ill see If I can get the club president contact info and PM it to you. If I don't get to you in a day or two pls PM and remind me works been pretty nuts for me.

I was there a few years ago and although there was no jets the club members were some of the nicest people I have ever met.
Unless they have moved the Kona rc flyers were right there on the beach flying off the end of an old runway at the end of a park. They kept having people jogging across the runway but it was hands down no contest the most scenic flying field you could ask for.
