What A GREAT week I had. Thanks JC and Nancy for all your hard work, this event was by FAR the BEST jet event I've personally attended. To the BARKS guys who worked their tails off at the event a BIG thanks, the flight line moved like butter, no mishaps that I can recall. A HUUUUUUGE thanks to Ali, who somehow managed to squeeze in several flights with me on my big Futura, getting it trimmed, in between seemingly flying everyone else's planes and helping everyone out for 5 straight days. The guy is a giver like no other... I was there early Tuesday and watched him program, Maiden, repair, and calm nerves the ENTIRE event. Not only does he entertain us with his unbelievable flying skills, but then he gives his time to anyone who needs him, nonstop.... TO YOU MAN!!!!! Thanks to Marshals bodacious BBQ, the food was outstanding, I loved being able to eat at the field and have the Banquet there also. Dave Searles thanks for the SAWEEEET photos, the shot of Scott Mar's Futura flying through the bushes was best picture of ever seen... Sam you rocked as usual as the "color man" of the event, thank you!

REALLY good to see all my friends... Pablo, nuff said!!! Ha! To the Cali crew good to see you all again, we need to go back SOOOOOON!.

But again.... THANK YOU JOEY!!!!! PLEASE DO IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!!! YOU DID A GREAT JOB AND MADE MANY MANY PEOPLE VERY HAPPY!!!

Just got everything unloaded from my first BITW as a participant, and can't thank Joe C. enough for the great show he puts on!! Lots of work Joey, but we all enjoyed it so much. Want to thank Dougie, KennyMac, Scott Rais and Dave Shoffner for showing me a great time and all the help getting me there. As for Ali, well, we all know his flying abilities, but I so much enjoyed the "after hours" entertainment resulting in sore sides from laughing so much!! More time conversing with Tam, Ali?? Thanks again everyone, and can't wait for next year.

Just got home and no, I haven't touched the trailer!! What an event. This was as many have said, the best one ever. Everything went smooth and all had a great time. Too many people to thank and recognize here so just a few. Joey and Nancy you were remarkable! First class as always and you guys covered every detail. THANK YOU BOTH!! Ali, it just keeps getting said over and over, but you are an amazing person. You never stopped helping everyone that asked and you never even frowned! You always do it with a smile and are gracious about it. THANK YOU!! James, Ken and Mr. Liu. Thanks for making the long trip. James drove from Maryland and the other two flew out from China just to attend the event. They said they will never miss another! Dave S...your pictures are awesome! What a talent. Thank you so much for the great shot of my A-7. You made them all look real. THANK YOU!! To the Barks club...You guys ROCK!! You were there all day long and not one of you had a bad word to say. You are the best club I have ever been around. THANK YOU ALL!. Well, Magoo, Jeff, Dougy, Scotty (congrats by the way for the Col. THacker award! You deserved it for sure!!), John, B1 Bob and all the others, glad you made it. It was great seeing you all there. Next year Joey.....!!

This was my first time at BITW. Thanks to Joe C and the gang for putting together a great event. I really had a good time. One suggestion for next year. we want one of those lighted disco balls installed in our tent and and possibly a brass pole

What an awesome show! Although being under the weather had me wanting to do nothing but sleep and stay out of the sun, I am glad I was there. The best part was hangin out with the fellas. Thanks to Joe C and Nancy for putting on such a top notch event.

Special thanks to B-1 Bob, EDFJim, Lowell, James and the FEJ crew for the help with my Tomcat. And thanks to Ali for not giving me too much crap for not flying it. :)

This was my first BITW and it definately won't be the last. Thanks to Joey and Nancy for such an awesome event. Thanks to the BARKS club members for volunteering your time and inviting us to your field and a big thanks to your families forloaningyou to us. It was great meeting everyone. I had so much fun. The after hours activities are the best and my sides still hurt from all of the laughing.

Thanks to Joey, Lowell, Hans, Dantely, Scott, Bob C., B1 Bob,Barry, Nick,Paul, Magoo, and everyone else (I'm sure I'm leaving someone out)for making me feel at home.

Ali, thanks for flying the Hunter and showing me how awesome that plane flies.

I just got home after driving 14 hours so tomorrow I willpost photos I took on Saturday and start processing the videos I took.

Looking forward to next year.

What a great event!!

The Kingtech team had a blast. Great time with great people. A big thanks again to Joey, Nancy and the BARKS team. A personal big thanks to D. Magoo for all the great food and letting me stay in his rig.

Wow, wow, wow, super great event.

Big thanks to Joey, Nancy and all crew for the event. All of us have a wonderful time during the event. FEJ will keep supporting the event and will be here next year again for sure.

Will stay in LA for another day, Ken and Mr. Liu will fly back to China tomorrow, then I will have another long way driving home. :(

Another big thanks to B1-Bob as he helped me a lot. Great guy, I will never forget how good he is.

MANY thanks to all the pilots and spotters that made it out to BITW.

As part of the BARKS crew that set up the field, helped Joe run the
event, and cleaned up on Sunday, I want to thank them as well.

This is the 2nd year that Mike V, Rick T and myself have run the
flightline for Joe. After anger management classes are complete
I believe Joe will let me run the flightline again.:)
Lowell mentioned above that "You were there all day long and not one of you had a bad word to say"
well, I did say things on Saturday and regret it. But, all is behind me now
and everything is good. But that was not my normal behavior.
Dave Shoffner said he was getting me a new hat to wear next
year, he said it would help.................pic attached.


A big thanks to Doug A for the hospitallity to munch on snacks in
your guys' front row space. Good laughs there during the 4 days
there as well.

Thanks to John H for allowing me to drink alot of his foofoo mini
fruit drinks[8D]

Getting to be out there on the flightline I get to see 100's of flights
thru the week, and get to watch, listen and learn from the best Jet
pilots in the World.

Even got to see my friends Kirk and Tam get along and put the
War behind them

Along the way, I heard a few things that made it fun. Some where

A very special thank you to Joe, Lowell, and the entire crew that put BITW together. We had a lot of fun and will return each year. I also want to thank the many folks who signed our letter in support of keeping Speedworld (and Desert Jet Storm) open. I'll keep you posted as to our progress. In the meantime, keep your nose up and power on; you'll trap the three wire (nearly) every time.
