New all composite aircraft from Hangar9 and Horizon.

Ok. Now that you are looking. Here is a link to the aircraft.

Now my question. With this being possible from Horizon, how long until I can buy my habu that is capable of being powered by a 100-140 class turbine? Does anybody want to see something like that as much as I do?

In my view many of the main stream Prop ARF producers could easily produce composite jets at reasonable prices. For some reason they dont seem to be doing so at the moment. I am sure it will come

Simple - volume.

Turbine Jets aren't a big enough slice of the pie yet. Maybe once the larger e-fans are cheaper/more popular, then you'll see them.

I know I know. Ultra flash looks great my best friend has one. I was just thinking something that's avalible most of the time. No pay then wait 12 weeks. Just order on Monday , build, fly on Sunday. Oh plus if my daughter decides to use her power wheel as a monster truck on the wing, I can get a new wing within a couple days at a reasonable price. Who knows. Pipe dream? Maybe. With the advent of easier to operate/install turbines, (vt80 install is so easy that it took me 5 mins to do the whole install on a sprint i built for a friend. Jetcat P90rxi is impressive as well, had it running on the test stand literally 3 mins out of the box) I do not think we are far away from mainstream turbines. Anything to get more people into the jet scene.

For those of us that live in the Reno, Nv area we can order a kit and pick it up the same day:D Parts take a little longer[:o]
