Any Good Hobby Shops in Miami?

Having no luck finding a decent hobby shop. I feel it may only be a lack of advertising. I'll only be here for another week and a half or so and it certainly be nice to visit a nice shop.
Thanks

Not sure about the Miami area, but there are plenty of great shops in Florida. If you feel like going for a drive, there's Graves RC and Just Model Props in the Orlando area, DreamWorks RC in Daytona, Esprit models in Melbourne.

Too bad this isn't the 70s. We would send you to 'Orange Blossom Hobbies'. Now there's a blast from the past that only old Miami guys will remember.

Sorry. I don't live there anymore but just adding some humor today. You might try contacting a member of the Perrine R/C club. They can probably help. http://www.amps-rc.com/

Who could forget, they carried all the really good stuff, EZ, MK, Saito. I also purchased stuff from Pan American hobbies next door (wholesale).

Talk about great memories.

Alaska Bob, it's pretty bad when one has to fly all the way from Anchorage to Miami, just to go looking for a decent hobby shop! ;)

LOL, Ron!
Actually, though, Anchorage has an EXCELLENT hobby shop...better than anything I have found in the Miami area so far. Lot of flying fields here, however. Markham Park is really nice.
I'll probably be here for another week and a half. I'm gonna try to be done here in time to get to the Tucson jet event.

Thanks, Malcolm!
You may not remember but I met you 11 or 12 years ago at Florida Jets.
Again, thanks for the hobby shop suggestion.

Bob, I grew up in South Florida and RC Hobbies in Ft Lauderdale was my joint! It's where I met Rob Lynch back when i was a teenager! The place was always great, but do not know how it is now- have not been in quite a while.
