Skymaster/Xtreme Jets F-15C
I'm interested in the F-15, and I was wondering if anyone would know what the flight characteristics are and what does the ordinance kit come with. Any information also related to builds and tips are welcome. Thanks. |
There are numerous reviews on RCU as it's been around a very long time.
Here's a video of mine |
What turbine do you have in this plane and radio gear? And could you link in some of those reviews please. Thanks. |
28lb thrust motor. Old Airtronics radio. This jet is relatively easy to fly as long as you have some experience. It's my daily driver, my beater.

Here's one. Just use the search function either on this site or google. Lot's of good info out there.

Was your F-15 like an ARF build where the plane comes in all the major pieces and you have to put the control surfaces on, main bulk heads in the fuselage, and mount doors and gear? Or in other words what was factory installed? |
I bought mine second hand. But, they mostly come as an ARF so all the bulkheads are in place. You can download the manual from the Skymaster website and it details all that is required to assemble it. It will still take you some time to put together but not nearly the ammount of time to build an actual kit like an Avonds F-15.

will a kingtech k170 be too much?
Hi , I have the aileron/flaps version and i intend to fly with the ordinances mounted. I have a Kingtech k170 lying around and would like to use it on this jet. Anyone here tried a turbine of this class on a skymaster F15? Do you think i should dia down the rpm? Will appreciate your tips. Thanks

You’ll be fine with the 170. The verticals will be awesome!
Just remember its not a slick sport jet so full throttle unending laps will likely kill it. |
