Bobcat!!!

Or ..... take you pick of any of the twin boom sport jets around Bobcat size. In fact any air frame designed for 80-120 newtons.. The VT-80 is a power house, in a small, light weight package that sips fuel.

My VT-80/Bobcat combo is brilliant. Very fast, very slow and and verylight weight.. (Oh... and it will knife edge from horizon to horizon.)

A bit more info would help. Price range? Sport or scale? Go fast or knockaround, easy to fly?

I flew a JTM viperjet and FEJ F-16 1/8 with vt80. Plenty of power for both , especially if kept light.

now twin vt80 for Su-27 1/9 ..:)

My hotspot is great with a vt80. I understand there is someone re-manufacturing them but like me you may find a Graupner one in the small ads.

Sports or scale. Doesn't matter. As long as I can manage it.
I'm 68 and still fly jets. Just love them, but have to keep them
as simple as I can. I don't like twin booms.

BVM Bandit all day long..

Jet Legend 1.9m Viper.

I'm 60 and looking at getting one to upgrade from my VT 80 powered Xcalibur. There are two in my local club, one with a 80 and the other a 100. Both are excellent. Plenty of speed and well behaved.

Sebart Avanti xs. Light, aerobatic and easy to land.

My suggestion is a Bandit EVO with a cortex gyro on it. A Rookie with a cortex is a excellent choice too.
