Airpowe EVSD-5U-Pro

Hi Guys,
I am looking for some help with the Airpower Smart Function Valve set up. It is probably me, but I just don't "get" the instructions for setting up the Gear and door valves. I am obviously missing something but I cannot get the unit to switch, except manually. The brake function set up was no problem
Anyone got any advice please?
Thanks,

John

Ok.... first question.....
Is the air pressure on the gear side above the gear failsafe pressure setting? The valve will not trigger the gear to go up if the pressure is below the GFS value.
Next, ATV settings on the gear channel... are they set to at least 100% in both directions?
and lastly, what radio system are you using and what voltage?

HiTodd,
There we go:eek: Because I had not programmed the failsafe at this stage I did not expect it would be functioning. I am trying to set this up on the bench without air.
As for the other questions Multiplex 12 channel IPD Rx, circa 6 v output (A123 batteries for input), and yes the ATV is set to more than +/- 100%.
As I suspected, it is my misunderstanding that is probably the cause of this problem.
Thanks for your help Todd,

John

John,
Indeed, you can not operate the valve via the RX without air pressure in the system above the gear failsafe setting (default is 50 psi). The manual button will override the valve and follow the programed sequence even without air but, without air driving the gear, not much to see ;)
Let me know if you have any additional questions once you have the valve fully installed....
Regards,
Todd
