No I still have the silver one. I was haveing a lot of probs. with it but the tank had and air leak in it and and the carb. was leaking like crazy. I got a new tank and sealed every part on the engine that can be sealed. Then I took it out and re tuned it and got it going like crazy.
My LSN is like 1/4 turn out from flush and the HSN is about flush, and these setting seem to be working very good at a steady 240ish. At first it's really rich but after a few passes it starts to warm up and come alive. It's in my savage and I am running a 16T clutch bell and it almost back flips on the pavement, it's crazy!!

Sigh.. Everyone who puts their videos online need to take

Videocam Operation 101

lol

Tip: Is he trying to get the SS on the chassis? Why is is zoomed so much?

I dont necessarily believe that its an SS. could just be a .26 savage!
Sure has good power though.

yeah its got crazy power thats for sure at least when mine is running, but the reason i asked was i ordered the black needle, and the orings were to big so it doesn't fit ( thats one issue with nitrohouse) so i tried to swap the orings from the silver to the black but as i was putting the second one on it ripped this engine is cursed.. so i can't find anywhere what the size of the orings are. You have had no probs with your one way either? if so your lucky the housing that holds the the bearing cracks in half. so i had to send that back to ofna they replaced and went thru 3 pull starts so went to rotostart finally, so if i can get the oring it should be good to go..

where is antioch illinois

Anybody that thinks the ss is the same as the rtr does not know anything about the savage. And saying so proves it.
The kit comes with a .25 engine that is a lot more powerfull that the old .21bb. It's comes with adjustable upper arms, HD DB all around, Clear body, Stiffer springs, better tuned pipe, a 49T spur gear, 15T clutch bell, 18t clutch bell, and most of all no sevo's/radio, and it's a kit, meaning you get to put the wt oil that you want in the shocks and the diffs. and whatever else that you want. I might of left some stuff out but I think I got it all.
And the people that buy kits usualy have all the servos and a better radio. every body that I have met have these things and the kit is for more advanced people. And $340 for that truck I think is sweeeeet!!

Little piston if anyone is stupid here its you. We all have the right to voice are opinions here but not at the expense of telling someone there stupid or wrong. You need to shut your little mouth before some people on this board show you what a Savage SS will do. HPI obviously is doing there job in answering a request from all their fans. Most companys would never do that such as Traxxas...Hmm all they do is make a 2wd version of the ****maxx

ok i got it to play. I have a T u guys think i made the right choice i love my T i just finished braking it in. I probably wouldn't have been able to put the savavge ss together. lol . I'm a newbie and only 14 years old. I'm not stupid i just don't really like going at something without having some type of experience. I think i made the right choice i don't race. i just drive around my house. So i think it's cool. Maybe i can learn a lot from the T and then get something better from. TRAXXAS Yeah TRAXXAS . you better believe it. they made other trucks look like crap at the time. They'll do it again and again . At least I hope. lol. Well it's obvious TRAXXAS will sometime later in the next year will go down because of everybody else making better trucks. But that wont be for quite some time. It's like when TV's came out.Everybody tought they couldn't make something better. Then they made them color TV's . It's all going down in a chain. Watching what happens in the monster truck industry will be fun to see as company's try to improve their already "PERFECT" trucks.

HPI's manuals are among some of the best out their...You should not have any probs....Also the best thing to do with Tower is just order it and get in line.....Tower will not show that they have any unless they significant stock.....

I have to admit that video is nice and HPI does make some decent stuff. I gotta see what the Tower Price is on it. I think the most important part is it's a kit. That will be a factor in my next buy.
