Default monster truck recomdations.

I would like to buy a new nitro rc monster truck. I was kind of leaning toward the savage x 4.6. I want one that is reliable, tough, and one that handles well and is a good basher. Is the savage a good truck for the money? my price range is300 to 400 and i would like to have a fourweel drive truck. i'll be bashing mostly in grass and hard packed dirt, and ocasinally pavement. i've had one nitro before soIknow a decent amount about tuning and matience, butI still want a easy to tune, and a begginer type of truck. Thanks

i would go with the savage x 4.6 rtr, great truck, lots of power and easy to tune. one thing to keep in mind is the parts support at your local hobby shop, any of the current mt's are great trucks, they all have their ups and downs, but if you have a hard time getting parts its horrible. good luck!

I am psychic. I am sensing this is going to turn into another flaming thread. I am also sensing that the OP did NO searching on here what so ever. I am sensing there is a thread exactly like this within 3 topics of this one.

Yeah what did he do wrong? He wants opinions, you want to start trouble. Awesome, you should search some forums/the webfirst though.

For 3-400 bucks better off with an AE MGT4.6 or 8.0...........

The Savage is an awesome basher, but the LST2 handles better. If your not racing and just bashing in fields and at some parks then I say go with the Savage. OR I really enjoyed driving my GST 7.7 Nitro Truck, it is HUGE and for it's size it can bash pretty well, but nothing like the Savage. I just loved the size of the GST and it bashed pretty well, turns like a fat pig though but better servos fix that a bit. just my opinion. All great trucks though..
