Default T-Maxx Rear dual Exhaust, any good?

Hello,

I was always kinda interested in getting a tuned pipe and now that i'm getting the 2.5 i'm even more interested.

My question is this pipe anygood: http://www.hurricanenitro.com/tm_r_dual_ex.htm

If not, what is another good pipe to use?

how about this one: http://www.hurricanenitro.com/tm_r_ppipe.htm

Also, do tuned pipes really work? Are then any better?

The thing that keeps me from getting one is that it might mess up my engine somehow or it will only work for low end or high end power. Can someone help me on that? I'd like to get one pipe that works evenly with both, or as close as possible to both.

Thanks in advance,
Larry

I got them off of: http://www.hurricanenitro.com/t-maxx.htm

YES Tuned pipes work! They area big deal. A bad pipe can make your engine run like crap.

The dual exhaust ones are usualyl not that good. They are NOT tuned at all.

However.. if you can get a tuned pipe and THEN route the exhaust to 2 pipes that wont be so bad.

Oh, I thought they'd have to be good, or they woundn't make 'em.

Ok, so what do you think of the one I showed. either of the two. Or should i just avoid rear exhausts all together.

If so, what do you think is the best tuned pipe for the new 2.5 ?

Thanks,
Larry

do a search for the sirio pipe. ive heard nothing but good from them. and if you upgrade to a sirio engine eventually, it will breath easier and produce even more power.
