Default Anyone know where I can find a Proline Dodge Ram Megacab body??

Hey guys,

I am looking for a Dodge Ram Mega Cab body.

I saw they made them back in 05' and i've found them all over at hobby stores online BUT "out of stock" everywhere?. Have they been discontinued? Im specifically looking for the larger one for the GST, LST, MGT size trucks. If anyone has any info of who or where they are sold i'd really appreciate a heads up..

Also if anyone knows of any other Dodge Ram body that looks good, i'd like to see it as well..but i'm specifically looking for the thicker larger lexan bodys, not the smaller thinner lexan ones that crack very easily...I currently own the F-650 and Chevy 2500 HD bodies and I love them because they are thickers and last longer.

Thanks in advance..

HPI makes a Crew cab Ram body for the Savage/T-Maxx. Don't know about durability, but...It's a Ram

Yah I know about that one. I bought one for my E-Savage a while back and it tore apart in a few hours of bashing. Definately not durable. It;s made with the thinner lexan. Body looks great but durability is HORRIBLE.

Alright I found the Part # for that exact body:
Part #: 3220-00 (fits LST, LST2, MGT, Warhead, Genesis)
MSRP: $34.00

I called proline, they said it was discontinued and they no longer have it. Boo...

I still will search around for one. I can't beleive I didn't find this a long time ago. I love the look of that body and go figure they discontinue it lol. There really aren't any good dodge ram bodies out there and I think it's because of liscensing agreements.

Haha thats what I said to him on the phone. I was pretty disappointed to find that out. I really like the look of the Dodge Ram bodies. I have the F-650 body on my GST and it looks Amazing! I also have the Chevy HD body on my Flux and it looks pretty good as well but I really want that Dodge Ram Mega Cab body.....

I just bought the GMC Topkick body to see how it will look on my Traxxas Summit. I'm wishy washy on how i feel about the body, I like the real Topkick but I think it's kinda boxy for me but i'm giving it a shot, should be here soon and ready for paint. I am also planning on buying the 07 Silverado body too and thinking about getting the F-250 body as well....again these are all the thicker .060 lexan bodies that can take a beating. Those thinner bodies get ripped to shreds in about 5 minutes.

Hey Pythonfan, I've been back for a while now. I got out of the hobby and sold everything a year or so back (dumb idea lol). Then got the itch again last year and came back and bought a bunch of RC's, so now i'm big into Brushless/Lipo power and i'm a crack addict when it comes to these dang RC trucks. I'm picking up a Losi XXL roller that i'm converting to electric this morning. I need to stop buying trucks but I always justify that every truck is different in it's own way to an extent so I want the top of the line for each brand. SO now I have the BL E-Revo, The Savage Flux (XL TCS Crawler upgrade), The Traxxas Summit (eventually it'll get a Mamba Monster set-up), a new CEN GST (Brushless Mamaba Monster conversion), and now the Losi XXL lol. All I need now is a 1/5 scale again and I should be all set. I'm looking into the MCD 4x4 but it'll be a while before I buy that. I need to fnish my CEN which is justa bout finished and the new to me XXL before I go crazy again.

How everything been with you?

KNow where I can find the Proline Mega Cab body lol, can;t find this body anywhere anymore lol
