i want to buy my first rtr truck.

will be used on street, dirt, curb jumps, small ramps but no heavy bashing.

Electric - I would recommend the HPI E-Savage but you;d have to buy used off e-bay for that price range....

Other than that I would say a Traxxas Stampede is a great entry truck and you can get it with your budget also. Very durable, quick, and easy to run.

try ebay or craigslist sounds like you want a stadium truck 2 me look into a rc 10gt or maybe a traxxas rustler ?
