Default New E-Maxx--So many options for hopups???

I just got an E-Maxx today, and am mostly going to use it for BYB (Backyard Bashing). I just wondered, what are some of the first, and best, hopups that people buy.

Currently, it will have everything stock, using 2 3000mah 6 cell batteries. I will eventually convert the radio system over to my JR R-1, which will give me control for the fail safe, etc. I eventually want to go brushless, maybe Hacker or something, but probably not for a few months.

One thing I have heard is to get the MIP CVDs all around. Anything else?

Thanks,
Jason

RPM arms - strong durable
skids- aluminum is sick
bumpers- u will hate when u flip ur truck and they look like crap
u could get bigger tires.

First things i would get are the RPM arms.... and then 7 cell batteries.. GIVES A TREMENDOUS POWER BOOST... and if u'r on a budget, all you need for now will be the rear MIP CVD's as the rear is the one that gets most of the torque.

Thanks for all the input. Sounds like the RPM arms are the thing to get. What about titanium skid plates? I noticed there are some out there, but also don't know how much they are, probably a pretty penny.

One other thing. I've read a few posts on rewiring fees from Traxxas if you damage your ESC, and have changed the connectors. I doubt that I'll have any problems with the ESC, because I believe in Novak products. However, has anyone actually replaced the wires on the end of the ESC, instead of just cutting the connectors off and replacing them with Dean's? I wanted to add a little lenght to them, without having to splice the wires or something. Would you have to remove the case?

I would just get the rpm skid plates because they are light and really strong and cheaper probably.

I second TJ cause I had aluminum skid plates on mine, weighed it down and it still broke.. I mean the front skid plate broke in half...
