I have had the XTM 457 in my MGT and that engine is a rocket. It's cheap, reliable and easy to tune. Once it's tuned it keeps it tune. I ran 10 gallons through mine before the piston and sleeve needed to be replaced

The XTM 459 is a little more of a work horse and works great on real heavy trucks for bashing. The 457 6 port is definatly a racer with the horses to back it up

not sure if your still monitoring this post but i have the 457 in my xt2 i love this engine it is incedibly powerful and reliable and like stated above it olds a tune perfectly i have over 10 gallons through mine and still on original piston and sleeve
