Default Savage not shifting

My savage isnt shifting, it use too but when i started to lean the engine it stopped shifting. Both of the set screws are tight, i tried to make it shift earlier but it still didnt work. Whats wrong with it?

only the top screw is a set screw. the bottom screaw is for adjusting the shift point. refer to your owners manual. i'm not sure but i think factory setting for the bottom screw is 4 1\2 turns out from bottom.

check ur tranny pins maybe they fell off..u should loctite them

I think it said to turn it all the way in but not too tight.

Where are the tranny pins??

the trann pin are inside u need to open the tranny then put threadlock so they wont fall off ..it happened to me thats why i know ..

Does the tranny pin look like a set screw with a piece of metal on it?

u might have 2 take apart ur whole trans......i had 2 only 2 find out the shift screw had cum out and tore the whole inside up. U might wanna chek that if nothin else wurks....I had the exact same prob. but 1st try leaning out the settings.....sumtimz if its 2 rich it wont shift or top out @ full speed.
