Default Clod Vs Twin Detonator

I'm looking to get a monster! I have decided to go with an electric and am considering a Clod Buster or a Twin detonator. Obviously the Twin would save me a few $ but what are the pros/cons of each? Would I be much better off to go for the clod? I'm looking to do some bashing along with some hop-ups down the line. If all goes well I might enter in a few of the local monster jams. Thanks for the help.

I own a Wild Dagger(Twin Detonator) and have to say that I am very satisfied with the truck.

There are plenty of hop-ups, including a two battery pack frame setup:

http://www.rcrock.com/shop/go.cgi?&s...eng&P=4x4-G002.

I have 2 15 turn motors, bearings, Team Associated Shocks, 3300 batteries, M01 aluminum hubs.

The truck is very durable and fast.

Hope this helps.

CLODBUSTER ALL THE WAY!!! But thats just one mans opinion. Only thing about the clod is that it might go out of production. WEll thats what im hearing. Its an all round great truck. The only disadvantage you will have is you cant jump it that good

BTW, for crawling, I'd get the TXT-1 (or rather I did and I like it ) and for bashing and jumping I'd take the TwinDetonator...(w an EVX/Titans and two batterys it sould fly)...

Hello, I'm thinking about buying a twin detonator (http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...19c47a6c333ae6)
and I'm just getting into the hobby and i figured it would be a nice beginners kit , but I'm wondering what all i will have to buy separately from the truck. Ive seen different sales of this truck and they all say something alike but not everything. I want to know what i need to buy separately

You will need a screw driver and hobby knife to aid assembly,a 2ch reciever, transmitter, 8 aa batteries for the transmitter, 2 standard servos, a 6 cell stick pack, a charger and a switch which should come included with a 2ch radio system.
