i have heard it runs hot and doesnt have good low end. so by the time you get it and a head for the heat issues you have spent like $250!

i almost bought one but instead got a fantom

Default well....

i am embarassed i have not run it yet i am waiting for parts to come in. but it should work well. i am going to be using an rrp silver flywheel, rc alloys clutch shoes and a racers edge 18t clutch bell.

also i am using thr trx pull start man is that thing sweet! it has a plastic plate that screws on over the pullstart spool so that it wont pop out and come undone, and a really beffy cord plus a comfy handle

I don't know who told you it has no bottom end. They must have some tuning issue. Mine runs like a dream all the way through the RPM range. I have approximately 3 gallons on it. There were a couple of guys at the track who eat their words after seeing how good it performs. I highly recomend this engine. I have put the Crazy Nut head on it but that was only a cosmetic issue for me. (Truck wheelied with no body on) I run at 240-270 on hot days and I don't recall the last time I adjusted any of the needles. I'm not saying it is any better than the Fantom because I have'nt seen a Fantom to compare but it walks all over the 2.5 and the O.S.'s at my track. Give it a long look before writing it off yet.

i have seen two of the sirio maxx's run and lets just say that they are a lot louder, both running the big boar pipe. They were not any diff frrom the 2.5 just louder and less run time.
If you want more speed and power get the savage rtr or ss kit. for a lot cheaper.

Well mine was one of them and it isn't tuned and I need to put about a half a gallon more into it before t really comes alive from what I hear. The other one was on a track so you cant really tell top end. I would say he has not very much experience with it. Not trying to start an argument.

If you are talking to me you must not of read my post very well. i did not say anything about their top speeds?
I'm just saying that if I put ear plugs in my ears and sombody has a dialed in 2.5 maxx and a dialed in sirio maxx that I would not be able to tell a diff because thier is not much of one.

You said no difference. I also dont notice much of a diference in run time.
