Someone on another board contacted RCCA. This "someone" also said that some of these "editors" get a little jealous over the vehicles that may or may not get published. Sounds rather childish to me. If there's potential features out there that fit within the parameters of a particular magazine and be good for the magazine, I think it should take more than, (in a whiny voice), "I don't wanna."
But, hey, it's not my magazine(!), it's theirs! I say, then let 'em do their 10,000th T-Maxx feature instead!

I have not read through the thread entirely yet, but I will tonight. I got the impression that you milled a lot of that aluminum. Not ever done that. If so, what equipment you using?

That's a wild looking truck RC Jack! I'm downloading videos right now but I doubt they'll do all your work justice. Thanks for sharing!

Twelve shocks, eight on the outside, four on the inside.

Savage_Dias, the vids on that sight are only shakedown runs, nothing special 'cept for AC/DC.
I was gonna make new vids last week, but, nothing went right, and I mean nothing!

fourwheeler, CV's are OFNA up front, Thunder Tiger out back; the gearcases are my own design, as is everything else.

Toy4x4, the entire truck was either milled, machined or turned out of 6061 T6, tho, on stress or load carrying parts, 7075 was used.
The machine I have is a Smithy Granite combo unit.

Thanks, old ultima. I previously posted 2 links that show this truck in various stages of construction, both, with & without the body.

Last week, me and my son went to the track in Sarver, Pa and almost right off the start, I snapped the front stabilizer bolt, (3mm), ending that day's running. Since then, I've changed the front & rear stailizer bolts to 4mm. If these break, there's 5mm!
