Savage SS Kit ?
Does the SS kit come with both the 49 tooth and the 52 tooth spur gear? I can only find the 49 tooth gear, which I have already stripped the back out of because I was running the slipper clutch to loose.

It comes with a 52 tooth spur. As I understand, the 49 tooth spur will be available shortly after the Savage 25 hits the shelves, but I may have this backwards! I'd be interested where you found the 49 tooth.

Whoa!
Just noticed your avatar. A PFD with lots of whistles and no yoke!
What is it hooked to? Kit, Lancair........?
I believe that RC may be your cheaper hobby![sm=biggrin.gif]

ZipZap,
It is attached to a Beechcraft King Air 350. That's my job ,so it is cheaper than R/C!
I checked my spur gear and it is the 49 T version.

My mistake then.
On your original question, I can find the 52T everywhere (HPI76942?), but no 49's. I hadn't picked up a 52T because that's what I thought I had.
So when will you apply your turbine knowledge to RC cars?

RE: Savage SS Kit ?
I just replaced my spur gear with the 52T and still running the 18T clutch bell. I had to use the 52T beacuse thats all the hobby shop had. That is the stock gear on the Savage .21. It seems to pull harder off the line.
This would be an expensive hobby with a turbine in it! But it would be a hell of a fast car.The good thing is a gallon of jet fuel would about $2.50.
