Savage SS, here I come! :D
Hey all,
It's done. All but a few bits are ordered and on their way to me as we speak
I've got my Savage SS, Rotostart and reverse module coming from http://www.stormerhobbies.com/ - dispatched yesterday
I've got the parts for my diff mod and dual tank mod coming from http://www.savage-central.com/ - dispatched today
I've got a paypal invoice coming to me for a temp sensor from http://www.meganitro.com/
And last but not least, I'll be ordering a few bits and bobs (nitro cleaner, radio kit etc.) from http://www.modelsportuk.com/ sometime tomorrow
Well, all in all it's costing me somewhere in the region of £600 (around $900) but I think it's gonna be worth it
Thanks for all the help you've all given me over the past week or two whilst I was trying to get it all together
Y'all've been great [sm=sunsmiley.gif]

I've got a feeling I'll regret buying the savage next month when MOT time comes around for my 1:1 car
I know I need at least two new tires, and possibly a set of brake pads as well. Meh, just see what the mechanic thinks and let "Mr Barclaycard" take care of it for a few months

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O
For a few reasons
My Savage SS left the states around 22 hours ago, so it should be with me early next week
The mods I've ordered should follow closely.
I've just ordered my radio kit and a few other bits and pieces (a new glowstarter - better to have two fully charged just in case I'd say )
Ohhhhhhhhh, and the best one - I'm making this post straight from the thread.

Well, here we have it people - the first installment
Congratulations go out to savage-central.com (AKA HobbyFever) for being the fastest to get something shipped out to me. I just hope the savage itself (coming from stormer hobbies) gets here today so I can start building tonight.
Would you believe it, the last thing to arrive is gonna be my Radio Kit, which was ordered from ModelSportUK - a local company. I'll let them off though, since I didn't order that until Friday night.
Pictured are the parts for my diff and tank mods, a fuel filter and a few spare glow plugs. Let's just hope the savage itself hasn't been caught up in customs
