RE: my duratrax warhead brushless conversion(video)
just a little update, broke the forward/reverse in the tranny(should have went with 3s lipo, too much power with 4s)
so I ordered the reverse delete shaft, and new tranny gears(just in case)and I want to get a 18 t pinion to tame the torque down a little
also I need new locking nuts for the wheels, they keep coming loose.besides that its still runs awasome
and I desperately need to make a wheelie bar....lol

Sucks to hear about the breakage but was bound to happen with the power you have running through it
Maybe a savage willy bar fits ?

ya I think I can make the savage one fit.the tranny is all rebuilt, with the reverse delete so it should be good to go.
funny thing is I thought Id have a problem with the plastic spur(i ordered a bunch just in case)but no problems at all still holding up like a champ.

Oh nice ! You got any dirt runnin vids ?
Stripped a spur yesterday but just so happens had ordered a metal one. Looks like it will be a pain to change out.

I know this an old thread but I'd like to convert my warhead to electric too. It's been sitting for a couple years and I want to get some use out of it... My only question (so far) is what pitch does the pinion gear need to be? It looks like 32P or 1M are the common options for a 5mm shaft. Thanks!
