Default Electric vs gas

I have been into RCs for quite a while now, I now have a brushless E Maxx, & a brushless E Revo. They break all the time, so my question is if I were to sell both of them, what would be a better truck to get for using maybe a couple times a year that wouldn't break if u did a little baby jump? Eg. Savage flux HP, 1/5th baja, so which is the least amount of maintenance and most durable? I'm open to most sugestions as long as it's tough.

My e-revo has been the least trouble for me, yes I own dozens of cars from savage to losi to traxxas, there is also no comparison to brushless lipo power and the reason things break more and don't last as long is because of the incredible amount of torque an electric motor has over ANY fuel engines. So you stress everything more. Price you pay for awesome raw horsepower at your finger tips.
