Replacing Steel Gears
Hey guys, I am trying to install new steel gears onto my baja mega, When I ordered the steel gears, i thought it would be a direct replacement. But I a clearly missing something. There is a huge gap between the spurs and the spindle that goes into the transmission.
Can anyone help me with the parts that I need or anything?
I don't believe I have all the parts, am I suppose to use the plastic pieces and modify them somehow?

The 2nd gear spur (63T) simply bolts onto the 2nd gear hub, you just have to remove the old plastic gear first. I have no idea about the first gear spur (70t). I ditched first gear in my LST when I converted it to brushless and don't remember what that assembly looked like. Either way you're going to have to disassemble your old 2 speed assembly and reuse the 2nd gear hub, maybe what you have to do will become obvious when you disassemble the old 2 speed.
