Default big block CEN mt2

I have a problem. My CEN mt2 truck is running perfect, engine broke in; leaned out; running 210 degrees. fun .fun .fun.
I also have a spare hot bodies 3.5 engine sitting on the shelf .

Has anyone done this conversion yet?
would have to modify the engine plate and get a 2 speed clutch bell to fit the BB.

I did a scearch on google but didn't find a "kit" yet.

Guess a larger fuel tank would be nice too.

I have started putting a picco .26 in my MT2:

New Era has a kit, I am waiting for info directly from a racer at Cen to get back to me with info on his flywheel, clutch, and clutchnut. The stock clutchbell and gears can be used. A $15 motor mount or the New Era kit is all you need for the big block to bolt right on the stock motor plate!!

great keep me informed on your progress.
I have to admit even though I already have a spare BB I wouked on the CEN today.
went a little leaner and discovered I never had FULL throttle. after a tank it was running 258 degrees and let me tell you ,it's not as fast as my Mugen but it definatlly is plenty fast enough for my 12 year old to crash big time in the back yard.

I need to stock up on upper shock mount bolts. Bent after every run.

wish someone would make a roll cage soon.

not just a roll bar.

auto2 how do you keep your motor running so cool? If I lean mine out for good power it gets up to about 290-300 toward the end of the tank.....running in grass....

I was running in 1/2 grass 1/2 driveway.
I also don't have the body on it.
I leaned it out another 1/16 and it went to 256. So I went back to where i was
I can't deal with thoses body mounts. Going to figure out something else to mount it.

can you get it to restart if you shut it down when it is hot?

BTW I moved my tie rods to the closer hole on the spindle. turning radius is fine now. big difference.

Auto2, It will start up when it is hot but if I run it out of fuel I have to prime it again. One time I was having a problem getting it restarted hot and it turned out to be a bad glow plug.

This Big Block modification is looking so good! I would love to do the same. But the only Big Block I have is a 20 year old OS 21 Max, and it would need some serious over-hauling before it could be used :-)

Do you think the MT2 would wheelie like crazy with this Big Block mod. It would be so so cool. Can't wait to see your end results! Keep up the good work.
