Default New to Hobby - Need Help Deciding

First post, hello everyone!

Ok, I can't make up my mind.......Maybe you can help.

I'm going to buy my first RC Truck

I want a MT, 1/10 scale or bigger

I want something that will hold up to accidents, can be used mainly in the backyard/grass with light to medium bashing, with the ability to run decently fast on dirt or street and has good customer service/part availability (internet, cause we have 1 LHS)

My budget is around the $200 mark, but may be able to spend a little more if warranted, depending on how nice I am to the wife, lol.

I can't decide between 2wd/4wd or brushed/brushless so I'm open to opinions.

Currently looking around the Arrma Granite/Redcat Volcano/Redcat Blackout/ECX Ruckus genre

Thanks in advance for any help!

I have lots of Monster trucks from various sizes and brands but all i know my TRAXXAS Stampede seems to last decades of punishment, have large ground clerance underbody and more parts support (due to Traxxas dominant market). For bashing and flying off the bumps 2WD is best bet due to low maintenance and less stress on tyranny gears. You'll need to be nice to your wife if you're going 4WD. Btw any traxxas monster does good job but its up to you to decide.

Trying to keep budget @, or under $200 a person will be looking at 2wd/brushed/NiMh setup. For a new 4WD $209.99 platform being released, I like the looks of the Redcat dukono a lot. I just don't know the durability of that RC yet. Lots of great MTs out there.
