2 speed tranny gearing
Hi folks,
as I‘m planning on planting a 2 speed into my Ek4 I was wondering if I can use any type of 2 speed clutch bell available on the market or if there are differences regarding the module/pitch similar the electric cars?!

there area differences, including there being 32p and 1m pitch, also tooth size, you will need to match tooth count to the spur gears, otherwise one of the gears will be too small and wont mesh correctly while the other may even be too tight. there used to be a calculator that generated what tooth counts to get given the spur gear sizes, and one cb count, but i cant find it anymore. (was like 10 years ago).
