Default Restored .21 TC

I bought this tc at the start of the year second hand. It was no where near functional, full of broken parts.. I think the previous owner must have delighted in smashing it into walls or something!

Anyway here it is in it's fully restored and functional glory:

HPI .21BB
Integy chassis braces
New Era .21 Conversion
New Era forward only conversion
Maximizer beadlocks with stock savage tires
CVEC 170 pipe
xray ball bearing steering mod
Motor Saver Air filter.

the rest is stock... for now. Hehe
and I have a fairly naked looking savage on the shelf wondering how long it will be able to hang on to the force .25 before the TC gets it

Anyway, I test drove it today... and found another broken piece so kindly left by the previous owner.

The drive pin on the rear driveshaft!! I'm going to have a wonderful time trying to find that in australia!

Otherwise... pretty good!

Bloody useless with front wheel drive, so I swapped the drive pin to the rear.. A bit better, but I can't break without skidding now... I'm supposed to race on the weekend!! I might have to use the savage []

You have the best tires one can have on a terra crusher...Savage tires they reduce the weight of the truck and really lets your engine go get all that rpm within its powerband.....Good choice on the set of tires that is exactly what i had on mine but with RPM titan stablemaxx offset rims.....

the only tires that i had fun with on my terra crusher were the HPI savage tires you probably will need to regear to a 18 tooth pinion but its well worth every penny....IMO its the best tires you can have on a terra crusher....

All those big tires they sell are junk...They are too heavy and put to much weight on your truck....

I use bowties on my TC and they work great, especially on the local track. Wizen- how did that tire set-up work on hard packed surfaces? Seems like everyone that owns a TC loves it, myself included!

Hey thanks Casey. I've only run it once.

Hey Wizen, what clutch bell do you use? could you give me a tower link? I think it definately needs re gearing with those smaller wheels. The maximizer beadlocks are great rims! I definatly reccomend them..

I think the shocks need a rebuild too. I'll have to race it next time at the MT day at the local club. I'm taking the .25 savage tomorrow.

Hey everyone! Show us you're TC's!!!

Me? The TC is two wheel drive at the moment until I can get the drive shaft grub screw for the front centre drive shaft.

I figure better to have two wheel drive than to be collecting dust on the shelf. I need a good pipe for either the .21BB or the Force .25, so I dont' keep having to swap my CVEC between trucks.

Same goes for wheels. I think I'll sell the stock TC rims and tires on eBay australia. They are still in pretty good nick. I'll put the money towards another set of beadlocks perhaps... and some imex rubbers!! www.monstertruckparts.com.au is great for any aussie who needs MT help
