15 tooth or 18 tooth clutch bell?
i am looking for speed and wheelies so what clutch bell should i put on 15 tooth or 18 tooth i am geussing 18 tooth for speed but just making sure i am a newbie to this stuff

what truck and what motor? the 15 tt. will give your more low end and the 18 more speed..!

o man you should very well be doing wheelys with a 18 tt cluch bell.. if not re tune...
my maxx with a 20 tt will allmost do them (siro .18)

the savage is way heavier, dont expect wheelies with the 18t. im not sure. but you should be getting them from the 15t from what i hear. dont owna savage, just stating the obvious

gah. do you visit www.savage-central.com ? i was browsing there earlier today. there were quite a few posts about it not wheeliing with the 18t bell.

The 15 is the sure bet great wheelies and good top speed. The 18t im not sure about wheelies but the top speed will be great. You can always put it in and try adding some spacers to the rear shocks if it doesnt

I have the SS.
I'd be surprised if you can wheelie with the stock clutch when using the 18T bell; maybe with the 15T. I have only used the 18T bell.
The motor has lots of power, but getting it to the wheels quickly is the issue.

I have the SS and with the 15 tooth you can wheelie, not on demand but after really breaking the engine in you can get it dialed in and pull them off.
I am doubting you will be able to with the 18 tooth.
I am about to switch to the 18 tooth as I am all over the excitement of being able to wheelie and now want even more speed.

i have the very first gen. of the savage and plenty of stuff for it. I will say though that I'm running a 18T CB Super soft susp. and and extended chasis......and the picco .26. But anyways it will wheelie at 1/2-3/4 throttle on pavement.....well thats not really the truth it does not wheelie it just does a 1/2 back flip and skids 10-20 feet on the lid........it could pull them with a 20-22T CB easy but I don't want to over work my clutch.
