Default New motor for a Hyper 7 PBS

After this winter I will need a new motor. It came with a Hyper .21 8 port - not the race. And it is a good motor. I do not want to put the same motor back in when it comes time.

I want a really powerful wicked fast .21 motor for racing. But my budget is only $200 - $225 american. [] What's available in that price range that delivers serious power.

I am expecting to only get 3.5 - 4 gallons through my Hyper .21. After that I will retire it and get a new motor - maybe use the Hyper .21 for something else.

Like turn my sone Traxxas bandit into a gas buggy - hahahahhahahahha LMAO

These seem to be the popular replacement choices.

OS 21RG
OS RZ V01
WS7II

The WS7II is more like $250.00 on Ebay, but it has tons of power!

too bad you want to stay with the .21 because the picco .26 is just awesome in 1/8 scale buggies. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Fast

Can't race with .25 and .26 engines. Have to stay race legal.

The OS RZ-V01B is one bad mother buggy engine. I am in the process of gathering the money for this engine. They have incredible punch and top end. The best part is you get OS reliability along with it. If you can get $300 to spend you cant go wrong with it. The RB engines are awesome, but a little exspensive.

I think $300 is to much - want to stay under the $200 - $225 range. Can be less but not cost more.

RB S7 is $225, Hyper 21 Race $175, WS7 II like dagass says can go around $250. Others like Picco 0-1BP, Rex P5, and Top SBK-01 are all great engines and stick around the $250 mark. It'll be kind of tough to find a good powerful engine for $200-225 so just save up another paycheck and go make a mark between $250-300.
