Are you twisting your dogbones or turning the nuts off your axles? It might be worth taking a look at your front diff to make sure it's getting power to the front wheels.

the original maxx had weaker slider joints. get the center "HD" drives for the 2.5. they will fit.

i THINK this is what you need. ill have to check the part number later... [link=http://www.carttonic.com/catalog/index.php?file=catalog&action=catalog_productinfo&uid=466&pi_id=33479&clist=0,9831,11888]Driveshafts[/link]

I've got a whole bucket full of the so-called "HD" axles that are twisted and broken from front and rear. Traxxas plastic sucks. Spend the cash and buy some MIP or XTM steel CVDs. I've read where some on these forums say to stay with the plastic but you will buy enough plastic to pay for the steel in no time at all. You'll get your best deal on EBay. Search for "Maxx CVD". You should be able to get front and rear for the Pro .15 for $30 to $60.

Hi there, i've got a ho bao pirate 10mt which is mad!!!

after a good thrashin' today at the park(summersaults & flips!!!) i noticed front tyre looked as if the tyre had left the rim on the front wheel, when i got it home i noticed the front driveshaft was bent.

Question: is their any way you can straighten an aluminium driveshaft of is it fit for the bin???

thanx in advance for your replies(if any)lol
