CEN Genesis Engine Question
I was wondering if CEN had released the info on that new .46 engine they are putting into the Genesis yet. I heard that they were going to release the specs the beginning of this month. Does anyone know if they have done this yet?

RE: CEN Genesis Engine Question
I called CEN yesterday and asked if they had released the info on their engine. They said that they were still working on the enging and had not finished developing it yet. They are still trying to get more power out of it. This makes me nervous about the truck. This might be something to concider if you all are thinking of this truck as a next purchase.

RE: CEN Genesis Engine Question
The engine is fast. Thats all you need to know. It will make the 20lb truck pull a wheelie and go faster off the line than most touring cars on the market. Dont be nervous. 714-792-1923. Call for details.

RE: CEN Genesis Engine Question
There are a few others that I have stumbled across, but www.toyhaus.com is the one I know of off the top of my head. And I am sure the Genesis will be all that they are saying it will be. I bought my MT2 with reservations about the claims made by Cen. Now, after having since late october I have had nothing but good experiences with the truck, and with Cen. So, I am sure you wont be disappointed with the Genesis.

RE: CEN Genesis Engine Question
The .46 that CEN is using is the same as the one found in the Truckzilla kit for the Savage. I believe it is made by OFNA as it sure looks like the OFNA .46 airplane engine.
Either way, the it comes with the Truckzilla kit is scary fast and poweful.

RE: CEN Genesis Engine Question
The engine will not be made by Ofna nor will it be the same one as on the Savage. The engine has been designed from the ground up specifically for an on-road vehicle. Some of the prototype testing was done with an engine that came out of ofna's supplier. The production engine, however, will be a CEN engineered and manufactured one.
