i love it, very fast. raced my freind the other day, he has a t-maxx, and i smoked him.
even gave him a head start. most of all,no tranny to deal with.a couple of little flaws but-
easily fixed. also need to upgrade radio, mx3 is a good fm radio, digital read out.

RE: has anyone got the xtm mammoth?
I just swapped one of my on-road cars for one. But, it wont be here for a few days.
Everyone I talk to that has one say they are incredibly fast, handle great and are easy to work on. The biggest problem with them is weak shock towers. A big flip and they will bend pretty easily. But pliers will straighten them out. There are upgraded towers available, and carbon fiber ones as well, but big $$$. There is one on ebay that caught my attention. The guy is selling it because he didnt like the way it launched or that it was a "bully" on his track.
I had to email the guy and asked what he meant by "bully" or what was wrong with its launch. Here is his response:
"When it jumps it jumps, the Mammoth is pretty heavy so when I hit the ramp it
takes off for a flight and when I mean that it bullys its way around, it's just
that, it slides the corners burns out all over and when I get close to another
vehicle it runs over them, not just bump and go but will actually climb over the
vehicle. It is a big 1/8 scale vehicle, bigger than any other that's suppose to
be the same size, like the Savage it's an 1/8 scale also but the Mammoth is so
much bigger. It is very fast and fun to drive though."
If you want to check out the guys auction its #3179040588
He built a homemade stainless brace to keep the shock towers in line.
I cant wait to get mine and pound on my buds T-Maxx.
