With out a doubt, get the Traxxas Stamped. Towerhobbies.com has a good price and all you need to buy is a ni-cd battery pack and AA's for the remote. I have had a Stampede for 2 years and I have NEVER broken anything but a bent axel. I will tell you that the pede (stampede) is one of the most fun electric trucks there are. After a while when you get into the sport, (if you are not into it) I would purchase a new ESC (electronice speed control (very impotant) ) and a 16 turn motor.

i have one of the hummer h2s but ppl say its hard to mod it and cant change the motor some im pretty ticked so i want something that i can have fun with, goes faster than their cars, and strong so it doesnt break on me

You say that you want it to be durable and fater than their cars. well for duablitly go with the stampede but for spped, I cant help you because I dont know what trucks your friends have.
