Default NEED FLYWHEEL HELP

My cousin has a Nitro Quake with this problem. The flywheel seemed to have a wobble, so we bought a new flywheel and collect and installed it. Same problem still there. I placed a dial indicator and checked the crank for runout. It was fine. Has anyone had this problem...and how do you fix it. We may be missing a sleeve, washer or some part that without it this wobble can happen? When placing dial indicator on flywheel face it reads about .022 runout!! Can anyone post a clear parts photo of how all the parts are assembled? This thing is getting to be a pain...ouch!!! Can Tower Hobbies people help with this? Thanks Capt,n

the problem may be the hole on the flywheel. THe flywheels are cast. If you had a lathe you could check the flywheel hole for runout and machine the hole slightly if needed..

He does have a lathe and a lot of tools for it. It also has digital readout. How about the taper that the collet seats into? How is a person going to match the taper inside the hole? Thanks...it is something to consider for sure. Capt,n

Well we called Tower Hobbies and they said NO PROBLEM......call HOBBY SERVICES..... they have a fix for it. Well we called HOBBY SERVICES...... and they claim they never heard of that problem!!!!!! I will call Tower Hobbies again, and ask what the deal is here anyway. It seems these people just like to honey coat problems. Not good. Capt,n
