Default cen mt2 roll cage

well I've spent enough time on this. CEN MT2 with a .21. The top of the cage was the one on ebay for a TMAX that is selling for 26 dollars because it's made wrong.
weight is 1 1/2 pounds. Kind of heavy but for a basher who cares.

damn that looks mean. try to come up with some type of body for that and paint it black with something like "crowd cortrol" or "police" in white letters on it. that would be so cool you could make videos with it running over barbies and stuff.

one Q. what is the cage made of? brass, steel? rod or tubing? and how did you make it fit your truck?

steel rod.
"how did you make it fit your truck"

I took a tmax cage and cut it up and welded it to fit .then added more rod to finish it.
It can be removed in a few minutes also.6 bolts.

I suppose. problem is custom stuff take time to make . how much would you pay for this one out of curosity?
to install it you need to drill 6 holes. easy. no measuring to do.LOL!

is you mt2 stock or do you have a BB in it?

BTW sweet; I have a potential trade going on . I need your advise.
I have a new losi mini T with 7.2 battery and charger and bearing kit.
A guy want to trade me a XXXT roller that has a lot of hop ups on it.
I think the mini is worth more whats your opinion? it has no servos or battery or motor. I don;t know if it has a speed control yet.

goes actually a little slower than stock cause the BB has a lower red line than the .16; BUT if you can keep the front wheels on the ground when it hits second gear it lifts up the right front tire a good 2 inches and it stays that way till I chicken out.
I need different springs. since I added 1 1;2 pounds to it I ran out of spring spacers.
I'm amazed at how the drive train is doing.
I change dif cups every few tanks but I havn't touched anything else since new.
wish the weather would lighten up. too dam cold outside.just cause I CAN run it in 10 degree temps doesn't mean I'm going to.LOL!

Hay auto do you think that you could give me step by step of how you got your tmaxx cage to fit your MT2. Ive been want to do that to my truck for a while. BTW I dont have a welder is that going to be that much of an issue. I think that I could use mapping gas to heat up the metal to make some what of a weld, what do you think?

Dont think that Im crazy for wanting to use mapping gas but I really dont know any better when it comes to metal.
