I always got my stuff from Tower because they were cheaper than my LHS but Tower started messing up orders and responding very slowly to emails here lately. So I started paying more at the LHS and they suck as well. Rude people there and not much for parts in stock. I'm fedup with these people not caring about getting things right and being way too slow.

yeah I HATE my LHS one time they sold me the wrong engine for my RC10gt and when I went to bring it back they said the don't take returns on nitro engines. I started yelling at him [:@] because it was his dumb@&& that sold me the engine in the first place.

I got my money back though and have not been back since and have placed several orders online for parts I know they stock ever since they got rid of the track the place has been useless anyway.

i wish you could all have a lhs like mine...great people, prices and sevice. i count my blessings everytime i go in there.
i do know how you feel though. before this one came to town i had to go to a franchise store. rude, cocky, and down right stuck-up employee's. ive also noticed certain racers that go there are the same way. its hard but the best thing you can is not do buisiness with them. hopefully they will 'feel' this impact and get their act together. it helps to spread the word to your freinds so they can do the same and give the store what it deserves (no buisiness).

Like it or not, the correct P/N is your responsibility if you want the right part. Every RC car I've ever bought new, kit or RTR, had assembly manuals, exploded views and P/N lists so it's kinda hard to blame someone else because you failed to do your homework. If you get a used car, manuals are available as long as the car is of current manufacture. Before you start trying to figure out how many days you have to go without lunch to get those high zoot bulkheads, drop a few bones for a manual. That alone will save you enough money, time, and aggravation to pay for itself many times over.
