Default Sell New S25 + 21BB for 24.7pro? (Savage)

Hey guys, been a while but I finaly sent my old S25 in to HPI..It was a lemon, every time I ran it something would break.

Anyways I recieved a new S25, and I was wondering if it would be worth selling the (still sealed) S25 AND my used 21BB to upgrade to a 24.7 pro?

I'm not really interested in the Picco or wasp due to some of the problems with them as far as holding up to abuse.
My Savage will MOSTLY be tuned for sand so I need a good reliable engine that is very easy to tune! This is why I eliminated the picco and wasp, not because i do not liek them, just not as well suited to shoot the hill at glamis and gordons imperial sand dunes.

The truckzilla looks bad ass, I will be needing lots of torque, but I am not ready to make that kind of investment, especialy since its hotbodies

Is the XTM24.7pro really worth it the hassel of selling both my engines or shold I stick with the S25 with it's great warranty for this kind of abuse?

I'm not looking just for a comparison, but also some opinions on wether or not it is worth the hassle of sellig Both my engines to get the gained power and tuning in the 24.7?

Thanks,
JI

I do not want to spend much cash on this as I need funds for my ATV (about 2g's), I also have heard alot of problems with the truckzilla mod on savage-central...I want a reliable engine, not a hotbodies one. Also im not talking about the 24.7 I'll definately want the 24.7PRO over the 24.7

Thanks,
JI

I say if you have no more use for the two engines or just have to get the power, than yes; sell what you have and get this. Out of all the people that have this engine, I've heard lots more good than bad if there is bad. www.trilordy.com has a video of a 24.7 in a T-Maxx I do believe.

yea, + the truckzilla is HB's so im skeptical..

Anywas How hard will it be to sll my S25 and 21BB for around $160? THe S25 is still sealed in the package, the 21BB has about 1.5 gallons through it and still runs strong.

Will it be worth waiting for them both to sell? Or should I sell them together?

the xtm 24.7 is a great engine very reliable and very easy to tune also take a look at the dynamyte mach 26 build by the same people that make the xtm and it sell for only $119 at ultimate hobbies great engine 2.75 hp easy to tune and very reliable. Both engines are made by sh and both share a lot of parts. the mach 26 is similar to the xtm 24.7 6 port. If you decide to go with the 24.7 you wont be dissapointed xtm has the best customer service I have yet to see in rc manufatures.

I'm still not very clear what I should do...I'm about to open the S25 and just stick with it...it woudl be ALOT easier than trying to sell I suppose, especialy if the difference is only marginal.

What do you guys think?
