The cen mt 2
Hi again, after receiving some peoples info I have decided to look into a cen MT2 off road fun factor 4x4. It seems like a reasonable price for $280 and I was wondering if any1 could give me both negative and positive feed back. How much maintenance is involved and is it worth the money dependability wise? Will it hold up and will it work if I drive it on baseball fields in the woods in the snow and in parking lots also my backyard?

RE: The cen mt 2
Beeker, it is a very dependable truck and maintenance is no more intense or expensive than any other truck. Its pretty much check lubes and bearings on a regular basis. You also need to check for binding or wear of drive train components.
Really the only problems with the MT2 are diff cups, and spur gears. The transmitter issue has been resolved, but a failsafe is a good idea with any RC. If you want a lot more detailed info, just type MT2 into a search and you will come up with many posts about the MT2. If you PM me with questions I will be more than happy to help you.
Also, everywhere that you mentioned you would run your truck, I run mine or have run mine. The MT2 is a very good truck, you get way more than you pay for. Let me know if you have any questions.
