From all of my research with the MT-2, i have never seen larger a-arms. What you can do it get some longer shocks. I am ordering so Integy T-maxx shocks for mine and they supposedly will give the truck a much taller ride says Meckey33 who owns them.

Currently i am trying to mod my truck to have double shock suspention like the T-maxx but this will take a while.

Any more questions? PM me.

T-maxx wheels and tires are taller than the 2.2s on the MT2. You can get adapters to switch to the T-maxx wheels from renegadeRC.com. and Integy shocks will give you some ride height over the stock shocks. The integies are a little longer over all than the stocks, and with the adjustability and spring rates of the integies, you can keep the suspension more extended than with stock shocks. If you have any more questions, let me know.

What Element said. I have yet to put the stock shocks back on mine for a comparison. but from the pictures I have seen the stock shocks set the arms about level with the frame. and the integys push the arms to max extension. Look in my gallery to see how far the go down and compare it to your truck.

sweetshoes, wont that make the suspention unreasonably stiff? the mt2 has 4 shocks and weighs about 7 pounds so putting 4 more on would probably make the truck very difficult to drive and the only thing that it would be good for is insane jumping. correct me if i am wrong but that is just my opinion on your idea.

Well I am not going to correct you because I am not sure if I am wrong.

Well the T-maxx and Savage both have double shocks and the T-maxx is in close weight range with the MT-2 so what is their purpose about having the doubles?

Honestly I think the four shock thing is more for looks on most MT's. For the most part putting a little heavier spring rate on the truck will even out rough landings.

Well. In that case, I will do it because it looks cool .

Naw. I might do it as just a little project to do every once in a while.
