The goods-they make your truck look freakin huge. They will probably drive through anything.

The Bads-They look bogus. You will have to have a serious servo to steer them. They might put too much stress on the engine and reduce its life. Expensive.

This is probably not the best post on here, but that's all I have towards Jumbo-Kongs.

Bads:
Your truck will be very bouncy.
It will have a higher CG.
Jumps will be harder to land.
Steering ^ like above.
Weight.
You'll need to do some major gearing work.

Goods:
Higher ground clearance.
True to scale look.

If your buying the jumbo kongs your not worried about your jumping abilities or higher CG. Personally i wouldn't mind a pair assuming I had a big truck in the first place, and most ppl have hi torque steering servos in MT's anyways.

As in major gear work lol, jus drop a CB a few teeth lower and your fine, thats not major.

i think they would be kool, and if i had the $$$ i would buy them. Use a 13T or even a 12T bell, and most people have upgraded motors, example, hyper 8 port, Picco .26... ect. and if those engines can't handle that.... then nothing would.

Your right, it's not exactly major to change the clutch bell and spur. I was implying that it may take you several attempts to find a suitable gear combo. If it does take you a few attempts, then that means disassembly and reassembly over and over, which becomes more of a major job. Plus the increased rotational mass of the jumbo's will be harder on the entire drivetrane and braking system.

With that much rotating mass and the added weight to the truck, like JEFX said, you will need serious breaking ability. once that gets up to speed it will be a Biotch to stop. and that is something to concider.
