MGT Too Loud! Any suggestion Please?
Hello People,
Finally, I started running in the MGT or the MTA-4 as it is known here in Hong Kong. You should have seen the amount of lub oil I left on the ground! Perhaps I can collect it & recycle it
Any way, on a more serious note, the MTA-4 is great & I will try to spend more time to tune it in next time. But I notice the noise of the engine & stock pipe is so loud. Has any of you put in a different Pipe? May be a photo would be fantastic. Thank you.

Yup, the stock pipe is insanely loud. The bad thing is the neighbors will hate it, and you'll eventually be annoyed by it. The good thing is, when you are at a track running with 12 other cars and trucks yours will be the loudest. You will always know how its running from the sound.

Have you thought about finding a dual chamber composite pipe. I am noticing that metal tuned pipes are much louder than composite pipes. Maybe the pipe from an MT2 could be adapted to fit?

Funny you should say this Mecky33! I have a CEN MT2 also. But the MT2 pipe is for a 16 engine, not sure if it will work properly with the Thunder-Tiger 21!
