Hi, i recently came across the ofna pirate 10 rtr mt on acehobbies.com I found it for $299 rtr and it comes with 4wd, steel 2 spd, and, get this, a hyper .21! sounds like fun in a 1/10 truck to me! Does anyone have one?

2 words : Steer Clear!

The chassis and driveline are not up to the task of a 21 with big tires.

I read that all you have to do is install the center diff pinion or something upside down and it will lock the center diff. Then buy some metal cvd's. Oh well, guess it's a mt2 for me!

that's true. Lock the center diff. The pirate 10 monster is a blast to drive because it is super fast. It is also true that it is not as durable as other trucks but it is a fun truck for the price.
