Why would you even think about starting a thread like this? Are you intentionally starting a flame war?

Seriously, use the "SEARCH" button. You'll find more flame wars then you'll need to help you choose!

Sorry, I guess i should have done a little research.

After reading them, seems that Savage is better.

the savage is more durable yet the t-maxx is alittle faster. its like a trade off, do you want speed or durabiliy.

Does the T-Maxx still out-accelerate the Savage, even with the new 25 engine? I have both trucks (old Savage with a Wasp 26 and new T-Maxx with new 2.5 engine) and the Savage is definitely faster. I didn't know whether anyone had done a side-by-side comparison of the two trucks' acceleration box stock, but in my case, the T-Maxx is a real pretty shelf queen and the Savage is the superior truck. Not to tick off anyone in love with their T-Maxx, just my opinion on my trucks.

right now i cant really tell you because ive got a sirio and i could even beat a buggy probably but the t-maxx may have more accel if its a 3-shoe check to see what shoe clutch it has on it. and let me know.

ok. the savage 25 will probably have better accel because of the 3-shoe clutch, its alittle heaver but it is alot more durably in my opinion. ive never owned a maxx because the guy the hobby shop told me they are a waste of money. he suggested the savage to me. if you got a few mods you will probably be as fast as a stock maxx or a slightly modified maxx

I like my Maxx because I can do anything to it. It's the greatest project truck of all time. Right now I've probably got $1000 sunk into it, and there's plenty more gonna happen to it! So I guess it is a big waste of money, but what isn't right?

if youve got over 1k sunk into it, it wont be a piece of junk because you will probably have alot of mods in it like aluminums which increase its durablilty. ive got alot of mods in my truck also and i love how it runs. ive got alittle more to do till i think its the best i will take it.
