RE: toughest monster
if you want toughness. go with the savage if you have a limited budjet. if you dont go with a t-maxx and convert it to all carbon fiber and alluminum. go with more carbon fiber

Use the search button, stay away from carbon fiber because its brittle and will break, no need for lots of aluminum, people break trucks, not manufacturers. Buy what you can get the spare parts for easier. Do not buy what you hear about on the net.

RE: toughest monster
Well I know of one, it's more of a monster size stadium truck though, it offered a WICKED!!! bang for the buck at about $300.00 to $350.00 RTR. We use them for our Monster Jam shows to jump 4...fullsize cars over and over for 30.000+ people to see, they make most other kits look like there made from glass compared to these things. The company that made them only made about 1000 "nitro truck" versions so they are farly rare and unique and guys that are fans/enthusiasts of this kit rarely like to part with them. The company that makes them is not assembling any of there own vehicle kits anymore but they are still making parts for this TUFF TRUCK!... have you guessed what it is yet???, most newbies to this hobby would not have a clue lol.

Jefx, I am not sure if you are talking about the poster monstermaxx who is on a lot of rc boards, but if you are, he owns unlimited engineering, they are the same product.

I don't know of this Monstermaxx guy. Both links, [link=http://www.monstermaxx.com/]http://www.monstermaxx.com/[/link] and [link=http://www.unlimitedengineering.com/]http://www.unlimitedengineering.com/[/link] take you to the same place. I was just being stupid, that's why I said I like one better than the other.

Gator8: Maybe an MRC thunder king. Believe it or not, thats what popped in my head, while i was reading that. I see them from time to time on ebay(electric). Didnt know they made a nitro version. Didnt some of the electrics have dual motors? Seems like an alright truck. How expensive are parts for them?

Hi cd, yup all etk's came with twin 540's. Parts are cheap, a very good price and still being made, I just did a parts order from MRC for our Monster Jam show and I got every thing I ordered except the spurs which are on back order. Not bad for a R/C kit that is OVER 13 years old! lol, most newer kits have more problems with getting parts then the good old TK.
my parts order. http://forums.nitroextreme.com/index...c&topicID=1647
STAY TUNED!, we got some stuff we will be posting about our 2004 annual Nitro Jam Tuff Truck show soon.
