Default Engine wont stay heated..

I just bought a TQ and it came in on Thursday, i started it earlier today and it got to 273. Then i go to start it again and the engine starts, but it only stayed around 115*degrees..why doesnt i stay warm?

Something is wrong with your temp gauge if it is running and it only says 115! Do a water drop test and see if it boils off or not.

no im serious...i touched it and it isnt even hot..nearly warm..maybe its to rich?

when i take the glow starter out, the engine shuts off by itself

WAYYYY to rich! lean it out gradually, then richen it up if needed. I've never heard of a nitro actually run at 115?!

When I was breaking in my Cen MT2, it ran through two full tanks with the glow igniter off at 103-115. Then the temps came up to about 130 until I started leaning it out for half throttle break in. I use a venom onboard temp guage, so there was no error due to improper guage placement.
