Default Can I use a sharpie to paint small details onto H2 body?

Hey guys, I thought that the H2 Hummer bodies would come with decals for he door handles and little details like that but it didn't. It came with some decals, but not those. My question is this. Can I use a black sharpie marker to color in those areas before painting, or should I use spraypaint. I remember I read a post on another board about how a guy painted the murals on his truck with some sharpie markers. I don't remember if it was a joke or not and that is why I am asking. Is it a bad idea? Will the spraypaint seep through the marker markings? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

BTW. I still haven't had a chance to start up the savage yet because of a biology report that i must fininsh . I can't wait!!

I don't know about the paint seeping through the ink from the sharpie but it is very hard to get a sharpie to mark thick enough so as not to be opaque.

Tamia makes paint pens similar to the Testors ones. They use Tamia's Poly paint that is formulated for Lexan. You can get them at www.towerhobbies.com

sharpies work great ,and if you make a mistake just use a small amount of denatured alcohol to wipe it off with a rag.
