RE: OK need help
What steering servo are you using?
Is the servo saver in good shape? Is the servo saver spring there and in good shape?
Did you center the servo before you installed the servo saver?
I am guessing you have the Savage (your username) since you didn't say. I think the servo saver used on the Savage is JUNK! I bought a Kimborough Servo Saver and am much happier now- it is worth it, but not necessary if your stock one is in good shape.
Now, if the screw holding the steering linkage to the servo saver is too long, I have seen it scrape the top of the servo and catch the servo.
By hand, does the steering smoothly travel from one side to another (when the servo is off?)
Try some of this stuff, and let us know.

RE: OK need help
pull it out of the truck, activate the servo batteries and radio, turn it a few times and let it center (without saver on) then, when its centered put the saver on also pervectly centered. it wil now be, centered! plop it back in, and you now have a perfectly centered servo! hope this helps.
