Default Gear Mesh Help

I have a 2.5 tmaxx and I took out the engine to fix a few things on my tmaxx and I was wondering if you have some tips and tricks on getting a good gear mesh allignment. Thanx

Make sure you can put a piece of paper between the spur and pinion and try to pull it out without ripping it

and make the paper mold into the gear?? like to have the shape??

No just put it inbetween. My friend stripped spur gear in his evaderbx because gear mesh was not set properly. He put the paper in and it crumbled. We set the gear mesh differently and now works fine
