What is your truck of choice? Everything has been done in some form. If that's your argument, you could also say that RC truck X copied this from a real car. Who cares. MRC is awesome j/k

Hi Thermal, just one example is the dual steering servos in this kit, It has been done 13+ years ago by MRC, even Losi beat them to it.

RE: rrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Traxxas!!!!!!!!!!
Here are some things i found at traxxas forums.........
The patent pending OptiDrive electronic shift module replaces bulky mechanical clutches with precise microprocessor control. The OptiDrive™ module senses Revo’s speed and controls the forward/reverse shifting for smooth, reliable operation. OptiDrive prevents accidentally shifting between forward and reverse by not allowing the transmission to shift until Revo is stopped. This allows the transmission to have constant drive engagement for smooth acceleration (no internal clutches). The OptiDrive module also reduces the number of parts in the transmission making it much lighter with less rotating mass. This results in faster acceleration. Space is freed up inside the gearbox so that critical areas can be beefed up for extra strength and torque handling. Revo’s gearbox is strong and ultra-compact.
OptiDrive uses multi-color LEDs to indicate the
status of the system. A blue LED flashes to signal transmission RPM. It comes pre-adjusted from the factory and can be programmed to use aftermarket radio systems and servos. The _OptiDrive module monitors the voltage of the on-board receiver pack and flashes a red warning light id the voltage is too low.
hifting is handled by a compact Traxxas micro servo. Using a micro servo saves significant weight compared to a standard servo. Revo’s shifting mechanism uses a spring to accelerate the shifting operation.
Revo’s heavy duty constant-velocity U-joint driveshafts are all new and they are stronger and smoother than ever. These monstrous shafts are a full 18mm in diameter. Only Revo uses expandable rubber seals to prevent dirt from entering the half shafts and causing friction. True curvilinear splines on the half shafts provide smooth performance. Large rubber-sealed stub axle bearings are used for long-lasting, smooth running performance. Revo’s sliding half shaft design is clearly superior, eliminating the metal-to-metal drive pin plunge friction that causes friction and wear in metal driveshafts and the possibility bent shafts. Plus there’s no need to limit suspension travel just to keep the drive pins from popping out of the cups. Revo’s driveshafts are engineered for durable, smooth, maintenance-free operation. _
Revo’s chassis configuration is an engineering marvel that combines high-tech materials and innovative thinking to provide a solid platform for the future. The chassis is tough, weight efficient, easy to service, and loaded with tons of unique little convenience and performance oriented features.
Much of Revo’s TRX 2.5R power gains come from a trick, dyno-tuned, dual-chamber pipe. The blue anodized tuned pipe uses dual chambers to increase fuel-pressure for easier tuning, improved fuel mixture consistency _and more power. _The oval pipe shape allows the body to be mounted low for racing. The tuned pipe features a rear exhaust outlet to help keep the chassis clean of exhaust residue.
quick release clips make it easy to remove the electronics for service or chassis cleaning

TNX/Terra Crusher are built better than any truck out there, durability wise. No1 could convince me different. Built better also for bashing. No question.

Thats why Tamiya just came out with the tnx. Dont look like its gonna make too many sells though.

traxxas really knows when to release somthing dont they? when the terra crusher and savage 21 came out, traxxas released the 2.5... that put the TC out of production and it made HPI make the savage 25 and SS.... anyway... what do you think it will be? how fast do you think it will go?

TNX isnt even out yet. So thats just not a true statement. You have no idea how durable it is. I dont imagine the TC ever did break alot. Going that slow, how could it break anything.

RE: rrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Traxxas!!!!!!!!!!
well 1 the tnx is same thing as the TC so I can say it is durable, if not more since the chassis is a one piece full plate. As for saying its durable, i had the Epic .18 in mine, so I can talk about it. Mine ran with the savage all day, and pulled away on the take off.
