Default Electric monster truck questions

Hello. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I want an electric monster truck, but I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I've already got a ton of assembled 7 cell 3300s I use for my other RCs. They're all built in the side by side config, which will not fit in a stock Emaxx. Does anyone know of any mods to make them fit stock, or where I might find an aftermarket chassis to accomidate my batts? The other option is the twin force truck by kyosho (I think). According to the new review of it in the latest "RC Car Action", it can fit 7 cells side by side. However, once I looked it up on the Tower site, they say that a 7 cell pack in any config will NOT fit. Who's right? I know I could reassemble my batts into the "hump pack" style, to make 'em fit the emaxx, but who wants to have to redo all those packs??? What a pain that would be! Also, I'm afraid to reassemble the packs in the "hump" style, because I use these packs in my TC3 too. That extra hump makes my CG awfully high for a touring car, thus my handling suffers. Any suggestions?

Hmmm...Seems like buying a couple new batts would be cheaper than buying a new chassis to accomodate your other batteries. I know dynamite makes a chassis for an e-maxx to run 4 batts. Not sure what config will work, or if you can run 2 packs like you have. Now, as for the EP mad force, heres a pic from the kyosho site. It sure looks like a 7 cell pack WILL fit in there to me. At least the traditional pack that i recall having one cell at the end of the stick pack sideways.

Hey, thanks for the pic! Upon seeing that, I'm pretty sure that even if they won't fit the kyosho in its stock form, I can mod the battery holders to make them fit. More than likely, I'll put the novak brushless setup in it. All my other RC stuff is brushless now, so I'm spoiled!

I have a twin force and it is definetly not faster then the e-maxx. It only goes about 22mph. But it is a great truck. You can fit 7cell packs but i don't recommend it because the esc really can't handle it.
